Welcome!!

I started this blog as a place to put the "mommy stuff" that just doesn't fit over on my other blog.

I became a first time mom at the age of 43 so this blog is written from *gasp* an older mom's perspective.

I love being a mom to the funniest little girl on the planet (check out the scroll over to the right ---> for some of her gems!) and I hope you enjoy reading about our adventures together!

7 Bloggy Boot Camp Reviews and other Bloggy Love

Topic of the Week
Compassion
Empathy with an awareness of the interdependence of all things,
and the strong desire to alleviate suffering.

My Topic this week is Compassion, as a parenting issue it is pretty obvious. We all have compassion for our kids, and I think hope to instill it in them. Today I will not be talking about that because I am all about Bloggy Love. After spending a terrific Saturday with 120 of my fellow bloggers I am just giddy with my appreciation for all the fabulous bloggers I met and for all the terrific things I learned.

Number one on my list, if you are a woman blogger, attending one of the Bloggy Boot Camps  is one of the best things you can do for your blog. New bloggers get a ton of how tos and seasoned bloggers get an injection of new ideas and new found love for blogging. Since I can't consider myself strictly in one or the other of those two categories (My Everyday Bliss Blog is almost one year old, this one is just over three months old) I benefited from both things!

But don't just take my word for it. I've gathered up some of the first reviews of the event I could find (all garnered from my original Boot Camp Hop participants -- my thanks for your playing along!!) and I've started a hop for all Boot Camp review posts. If you have written about the San Francisco event please do link up so we can gather all the collective wisdom and share the love!

Have you written a re-cap post about Bloggy Boot Camp? If so go ahead and link up those posts here. Please link up directly to the post (not just to your main blog page) and if you write multiple posts please feel free to link up multiple times. I will be keeping this blog hop live in my side bar for the next month. There will be some linky love and other prizes possible for everyone linking up, with special credit given to all mentions of bacon!

  1. Good job. What a great way to keep that momentum of sharing and learning from each other going. Thanks for listing me - my first time writing about such an event :)

  2. Thanks for the shout out. Any you with your "bacon." I thought of adding that word to a few headlines to rack up the hits. Is it working?
