I started this blog as a place to put the "mommy stuff" that just doesn't fit over on my other blog.

I became a first time mom at the age of 43 so this blog is written from *gasp* an older mom's perspective.

I love being a mom to the funniest little girl on the planet (check out the scroll over to the right ---> for some of her gems!) and I hope you enjoy reading about our adventures together!

A Peg Doll Fairy's life takes flight...

My friend M. of We Bloom Here is hosting a delightful little Peg Doll swap over on her blog and I decided to jump right in!  Do stop by and see all the darling creations here.

We were asked to share the inspiration for our dolls. Mine, hot on the heals of my One World One Heart Fairy extravaganza, came from the beginning of the Tinkerbell movie which goes:

Have you ever wondered how nature gets its glow?
Who gives it light and color as the seasons come and go?
Who helps all creatures, great and small to walk, to swim, to fly?
Who crafts such tiny details? You might see them if you try
For it's all the work of fairies but they stay well out of sight
For the first time that a baby laughs, a fairy's life takes flight

And to accompany the wee ones to their new homes, a small note:

Few folk have seen a Fairy,
But I found this one for you.
If you believe with all your might
She'll make your dreams come true.

Wishing you all great dreams!

"Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men." - Goethe

P.S. The Bliss Habits site is launching in just two weeks. Come be an early adopter and join our Facebook community page where the fun is already starting!
